Frame Link Express Now Runs on Desktops as Well as Laptops
The convenience of the Frame Link Express card that has been used for image acquisition in laptops for the past few years is now available for desktops.
With a PCIe or PCIx adapter in an available slot in the desktop, users can now insert the PCMCIA card directly into the desktop computer and utilize the higher processing and acquisition speeds of a full size machine.
Setting up the desktop is done in a just a few steps:
Install the adapter
Install the software for the Frame Link Express
To access the camera create a virtual port using the VCE CamX application
This also provides a cost effective solution since the Frame Link Express is compatible with most image processing software and any interface and a laptop is not needed.
The configuration has been tested and verified by Sudeep at Uniforce Sales and Engineering. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 510 657 4000 or email.
