Specialty Cameras - Industrial Borescopes, Security "Night Probe" and Public/Military Transportation

I thought it might be worth covering some of the new cameras we are now offering from Sentech that are not machine vision but still have significant uses in various fields.

Industrial Borescope Handheld
Camera Series
The first is the Industrial Handheld Borescope Camera Series. This unit is a complete hand held LED video based borescope. There are two versions – one has USB output and is designed for computer use and display the other is video output and has an integrated 2” LCD screen and RCA jack video output connection. The Industrial Handheld Borescope is excellent for acquiring images in tight or hard to reach places such as inside tubes or pipes.

Plastic Dome with Microphone
 and LED Light

Next are the Transit Cameras. Usually when we think of transit we conjure images of public buses. In this application transit is any mobile vehicle, whether military or public, where durability and image performance are vital. The Transit Cameras are designed to perform well in a variety of lighting conditions and have the ability to produce clear images from a close-up target to a distant target.

Metal Wedge with Optional
Microphone and LED

Specifically for public transit, such as buses and trains, is the Sentech IR Illumination (Day/Night) Transit camera, which uses special IR illumination to resolve two major issues on trains and buses – “hot spots” on close-up targets and illumination, one unit can evenly illuminate the entire interior of a bus. Both units are easy to install and maintain.

Security "Night Probe" camera

Finally, we have the Security “Night Probe”. This camera was designed to provide video in very low light environments. It is capable of “seeing” in completely dark environments without IR or visible spectrum lighting.

If you would like more information on Sentech cameras or have questions on how we can provide a solution for your specific needs please call 510 657 4000 or leave a comment.
